Corrie and Shane 9.27.08 at Blithewold Mansion - Photos by Mariah and Trish

So as everyone knows it was a rainy day on Saturday. But let that not distract us from the real news of the day...Corrie and Shane finally got married after something like a million year courtship! Everything was so beautiful and well thought out, Corrie's attention to detail was amazing, everything matched! We didn't mind the weather and we had a great time with them on Saturday, I think everyone else had a great time too!

She had these spectacular sparkly pieces in her hair.

Getting ready with the help of the sisters.

Disco limo! (humungous Hummer)

Corrie and her Dad coming in from the rain.

Another amazing bouquet from Sayles Livingston. I love the bright vibrant colors.

What a gorgeous portrait, modern, yet classic.

The girls waiting before the ceremony.

Meanwhile..here's Shane indulging my odd posing request. The Marriott never looked so cool.

This is Brady, he was very patient waiting at the hotel for the limo to arrive.

Shane mac-ing in the disco limo.

OK, so here I am arriving and posing for Mariah shooting my pic, then there is the real me with the crazy expression. Boy that umbrella was a real tough nut to crack I guess.

On the way to the ceremony...

I know that Corrie was disappointed to not be outside, but this room was really beautiful!

Finally!

So because we are lucky gals, the rain stopped for a tiny bit and we ran out for some photos!

You can't have too much smooching, can you?

The flower girl really had a great time during the picture taking! Kids are always a fun wild card at a wedding, you never know what you will get.

Look at this fun shot of Corrie with some random person. Oh, that's Mariah, photo girl extraordinaire!

Mariah did this awesome shot of the wedding party. What rain?!

Even more smooching...

How 'qute' is this?! Every place had a monogrammed napkin.

Corrie was not sure if she should do the lanterns initially...YES! They totally make it!

Corrie looked like a professional dancer! They seemed so at ease and natural. Hey where did her shoes go?

Cake! Got to get some sugar for energy to dance all night!

Our first place winner in the break dancing contest...

More sugar energy in a beautiful presentation from Blue Rocks catering.

I have no idea.

UCONN...Huskies! I love the school spirit.

The last dance. Seriously, those lanterns totally rocked it!
